ADRIA -- On Saturday 21st June at around seven in the evening the second Italian race of FIA GT Championship will start and will be considered valid as third proof of 2008. Fascinating Gran Turismo cars will battle along the 2702 metres of Adria International Raceway, a first rate building, even not particularly long, approved also for F1 tests, an high demanding course made by burning straight and and sharp bends.
"I like this racetrack -- Thomas Biagi sais -- the first time I drove there I had a record timing that it is still unbroken. I'm longing for the race in Adria, close to my home and to my "Cento Fan Club" who will be there supporting me. I wish this positive trend with my Ferrari will continue: after the fouth place in Silverstone and third in Monza I will do my best to get a good result".
First time of FIA GT in Veneto was in October 2006 and then last year the race was held during the evening; a so much successful try that it was decided to repeat it even this year. The race will last around 2 hours and will start at 19.50 with artificial lighting that will create a special and charming atmosphere even for the audience.
As for the program, Thomas will be busy with free proofs on Friday in the morning and then qualifications are planned in the late afternoon from 17.15 to 17.50. On Saturday warm up from 11.40 to 12.10 and then start (in speed) at 19.50.
The race will be broadcast live on Sky Sport 2 on next Saturday 21st June from 19.45.
