NIGHT FEVER HITS ADRIA
With the wet weather from round two at Monza of last month a distant memory, Scuderia Ecosse heads back to familiar Ferrari territory and the Adria Raceway in northern Italy this weekend for round three of the FIA GT Championship. Saturday the 21st June will see the first night race of the season, a race that will undoubtedly test the team to the limits.
Fresh from his stunning second place podium finish in the GT2 category at the gruelling Le Mans last weekend, Fabio Babini will be back behind the wheel of the team's Ferrari F430GT2 to do the honours in qualifying on Friday. Both Jamie Davies and Fabio Babini have extensive Adria race experience and this will see them in a good position to conquer the tight and twisty circuit.
Race-car '62' makes a star appearance on the cover of the Adria official race weekends programme and the forthcoming race weekend has all the right ingredients to be a true classic event for the determined Scottish racers.
Check out the team's progress this weekend with the extensive TV coverage that is available throughout the season. Round three of the FIA GT Championship at Adria will be broadcast on ITV4 in the UK with a post qualifying and highlights programme will be shown on Channel 4, Sky Sports and Men & Motors.
