The second Italian round of the FIA GT championship turns out to be unlucky for Matteo Bobbi and Jaime Melo. The yesterday's good performance vanished today due to a radiator problem arisen a few kilometers after the beginning of the race. It forced the number 58 Ferrari F430 to a very long, and thus time consuming, pit stop. Back on track, the accumulated delay did not allow the drivers to improve their seventh position, kept till the chequered flag.

With only one race to go, the classification sees Matteo Bobbi and Jaime Melo at the lead with 69 points, followed by Salo and Aguas (second today) with 63.

The last round of the FIA GT championship is scheduled for next Novermber the 18th at Dubai.

Matteo Bobbi
"What an unlucky race! Nothing else to add. We knew that the fight for the title would have been harsh till the last race: at Dubai we will be a bunch of points ahead our direct opponents, but the task of winning the title will not be an easy one".
