Neville returns home to contest the BRC Bulldog International

Stone based businessman Neville Jones is returning to Wales, his birth place, to contest this weekends Bulldog International Rally of Wales, which counts as the opening round of the 2009 British Rally Championship, and aims to tackle the majority of the rallies within the series this year. And joining him in the Vulcan Fasteners supported Subaru Impreza N12 for this weekend is experienced rally co-driver Craig Parry.

Neville, who made his World Rally Championship debut on Decembers Wales Rally GB, enjoyed the experience of pre event recces so much that he has decided to compete on a number of International events in 2009, beginning with this weekends Llangollen based Bulldog Rally.

I'm really looking forward to this weekends rally. I did the Red Kite Stages in January with my brother in law, but since then I haven't done a rally, so reckon I'll be a bit rusty to begin with! Because this is my first year contesting international rallies I'm not expecting much but we should have some fun... which is what rallying is all about.

Neville and Craig will not be registering for championship points as the pair have chosen to run on non championship Dunlop Tyres but are still hoping to set a respectable pace in their Geoff Jones Motorsport run Subaru Impreza N12.

The Bulldog International Rally of Wales is based in Llangollen, with a central service area in Bala. Featuring some of the classic mid Wales stages such as Dyfnant, Dyfi and Penllyn this brand new event to the British Rally Championship calendar is the perfect way to begin the new season.
