Kenny and Gwynn return to gravel for Rally Yorkshire

British Rally Championship young guns Nick Kenny and George Gwynn head to Yorkshire looking forward to the return to gravel after 3 character building tarmac rallies in a row.

The K-Motion backed pairing, whose combined age of 43 makes them the youngest in the championship, are contesting their first full season in the premier division and whilst they have experienced a run of bad luck on the recent tarmac rounds the experience has been hugely beneficial and both Nick and George are now confident that, when they return to gravel, they will be closer to the pace of the front runners.

Ulster was a really tricky rally for both of us. There was a problem with the handling on the car and we could not trace it-- well not until the diff went! Once Geoff Jones Motorsport had restored the car to full working order we had a good run. We're really looking forward to the International Rally of Yorkshire now.

Telford based Nick is planning a brief test session ahead of the weekend whilst Machyllenth resident George recently co-drove for PWRC regular Stuart Jones on the Plains Rally in Welshpool.

The Pickering based event takes in some of the famous RAC stages of old, including Dalby and Cropton and with over 100 stage miles in 1 day of rallying presents the drivers with quite a challenge. The rally starts at 9am on Saturday 6th October with the first car due back mid afternoon.
