ABRA Unlimited Hydroplane Test Sessions Planned

The ABRA Unlimited Hydroplane season is right around the corner and the teams are preparing for the season opener in Evansville.

On the West Coast, David Williams and Brian Perkins are planning on taking their hydroplanes out on Seattle's Lake Washington Thursday, May 29th for a test session. The U-48 Lakeridge Paving and the U-50 Spirit of the Navy plan on running from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The Madison Courier Journal also reported the Oh Boy! Oberto/Miss Madison also will be having a test session on the Ohio River Tuesday, June 17.

The test is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. The Courier stated the session would last until 'driver Steve David, crew chief Mike Hanson and owners' representative Bob Hughes are pleased with the results.'

The Thunder on the Ohio in Evansville will be the first race of the 2008 season and will take place June 27 through June 29 on the Ohio River.
