LOOKING TO CONTINUE THE STREAK-- Dave Villwock and Bernie Little's Miss Budweiser team will be in Madison, Ind. this coming weekend for round two of the 2002 Budweiser Unlimited Hydroplane Series at the Budweiser Madison Regatta Presented by Cruisin' Auto. Villwock looks to build upon his successful start in Evansville last weekend where he qualified third, placed first, third and first in the three preliminary heats and then capped off the weekend with an exciting victory in the final heat.

"While we won the championship last year, I'm hoping to avoid a repeat of last year where we won Evansville and then didn't win another race the rest of the year," Villwock said." Fortunately, last year we did well in the points. This year, we're hoping to do more than win heats, we want to win races. Madison is a great place to build upon last weekend's good start."

Miss Budweiser Owner Bernie Little is excited by the team's victory in Evansville,"I'm starting my 40th season in Hydroplane racing, and to do it with a win was great. I've got a great driver and crew and anything that is thrown at us this season won't matter. We'll be out there racing our hardest to bring home victories and another championship for Miss Budweiser."

After the Evansville victory, Bernie Little now has 132 race victories, 21 World Championships and 13 APBA Gold Cups. Villwock now has 37 career victories, 28 in Miss Budweiser.

MADISON BOUND-- Last year in Madison, Villwock placed a disappointing sixth in the final heat after placing first, second and third in the preliminary heats of the weekend. Bernie Little's Miss Budweiser first competed in Madison in 1964 but did not get its first win until 1970. Since then, the Miss Budweiser has won in Madison 13 times.

O'DOULS' NATIONAL HIGH POINTS UPDATE-- Dave Villwock in Bernie Little's Miss Budweiser leads the O'Douls' National High points race with 150 points after round one of the 2002 Budweiser Unlimited Hydroplane Series. He maintains a 40-point lead over Terry Troxell in the U-99 boat.
