Milwaukee Mile to host first IFMA event

AURORA, Ill., (May 15, 2002) - Clear Channel Entertainment's motor sports division announced today that the Milwaukee Mile will host the IFMA's first outdoor competition in two years. The freestyle motocross event at the Milwaukee Mile, which will take place July 19-20, 2002, will start the fall IFMA season, the first of 14 events.

The front straight of the Milwaukee Mile will be transformed into a customized freestyle motocross track - complete with several take-off and landing ramps, using more 2,500 cubic yards of dirt. Invited riders such as Dustin Miller, Nate Adams, Kenny Bartram and more will be on-hand pulling off the biggest freestyle tricks in front of the center grandstands of the Milwaukee Mile.

The Milwaukee Mile, no stranger to motor sports, will host the CART FedEx Championship Miller Lite 250 on May 31-June 2, and is on the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds.
