ATS Formula 3 Cup
Victories by Kevin Magnussen and Tom Dillmann

The title fight in the ATS Formula 3 Cup remains thrilling: after the leader of the standings, Tom Dillmann (France), had merely scored one point in the first race at the Nurburgring after receiving a drive-through penalty, the Volkswagen driver managed to slightly extend his points advantage over his brand colleague Danie Abt, who finished both races as the runner-up, with a victory in the second race. The rivals for the title, both "powered by Volkswagen", will travel to the last two rounds of the season at Oschersleben with a difference of just nine points. Volkswagen driver Kevin Magnussen (Denmark), who is currently in third place of the standings, achieved his third win of the season in the first race at the Nurburgring. In total, as many as 15 of the 16 point finishes to be clinched at the eighth ATS Formula 3 Cup weekend went to drivers with Volkswagen Power.

British Formula 3 Championship
Volkswagen one-two win at Snetterton

With a victory at the 25th round of the British Formula 3 Championship at Snetterton Volkswagen driver Jean-Eric Vergne started into the ninth of ten race weekends of the series. The Frenchman who had secured an early win of the championship at Silverstone crossed the finish line with a 3.6-second lead ahead of his Carlin team colleague Adriano Buzaid. Buzaid had started the race from the pole position. Six drivers "powered by Volkswagen" clinched a place among the top ten. The 26th and 27th rounds of the British Formula 3 Championship will be held on Monday.

ADAC Formula Masters
Richie Stanaway wins title early

A perfect performance by Richie Stanaway at the sixth race weekend of the ADAC Formula Masters at the Nurburgring: the 18-year-old driver from New Zealand won all of the three races in the Eifel and secured the champion's title early, three rounds before the end of the season. The runner-up has been determined as well: Patrick Schranner (Germany), who occupied places four, three and two at the Nurburgring, is out of his closest rivals' reach in second place of the standings. All racers in the ADAC Formula Masters drive 145-hp Dallara powered by Volkswagen.

Porsche Supercup
Volkswagen Junior Rene Rast on podium at Spa

Volkswagen Junior Rene Rast continued to extend his lead of the standings at the ninth round of the Porsche Supercup at Spa-Francorchamps. Rast crossed the finish line on the Belgian circuit in the Ardennes in second place but was subsequently relegated to third by the stewards for having crossed a boundary line while overtaking. To clinch the title, the German, who has a comfortable advantage of twelve points, will merely have to finish the season's finale at Monza in eighth place.
