Dillmann increases championship lead

Volkswagen drivers dominated the third ATS Formula 3 Cup race weekend. Tom Dillmann was the most successful driver at Hockenheim in the process. The Frenchman from team HS Technik put in a storming drive from tenth position on the grid to third place on Saturday, on Sunday he won from pole position. Dillmann continues to lead the overall standings as a result. Second and third places in the standings are held by Daniel Abt and Kevin Magnussen two other young drivers "powered by Volkswagen". Abt in the Van Amersfoort team cockpit clinched a fifth and third place at the Baden circuit, the Dane was second in the first race, in race two fifth. After finishing second on Sunday Stef Dusseldorp was the second Van Amersfoort driver to celebrate a podium finish.

British Formula 3 Championship
Three Volkswagen race wins at Hockenheim

The Volkswagen drivers were unbeatable on the British Formula 3 Championship's foray to Hockenheim. Red Bull Junior Jean-Eric Vergne won the first and third races of the weekend, in the second race he was fifth. The Carlin team driver retook the championship lead in the hard fought "star of tomorrow" class as result. Victory in race two went to the Brazilian Gabriel Dias (Hitech Racing). With Jazeman Jaafar, who finished third twice, as well as William Buller and Adriano Buzaid, who recorded a second and third place, three more drivers with Volkswagen power mounted the podium.

Successful premiere of new one-make cup

Volkswagen wrote motorsport history in India in front of a spectating Volkswagen Motorsport Director Kris Nissen. In Pune, the headquarters of Volkswagen India, the Volkswagen Polo Cup India opened its debut season. Sailesh Bolisetti took two victories. In the first race the 22-year old took the flag ahead of Saran Vikram and Karthik Shankar. In the second race Shankar was second, Mohd Fahad Kutty finished third.

ADAC Formula Masters
Richie Stanaway dominates

Three races, three wins - this is Richie Stanaway's impressive score card from the third ADAC Formula Masters weekend of the season, which was completely dominated by team ma-con. In addition to the dominant New Zealander only his team mates took podium finishes at the 4.574 kilometre track. The German Mario Farnbacher was second twice and third once, the Frenchman William Vermont claimed the other podium positions.

Volkswagen Endurance Cup
Jeroen den Boer and Rene Steenmetz stay on top

In the third race of the Volkswagen Endurance Cup in Zolder the Golf drivers Jeroen den Boer and Rene Steenmetz continued thier winning streak. The duo from team DB Motorsport attacked the 500 kilometre race from second on the grid and took the lead following the accident of Jeroen Dik and Thierry Kohler (Kohler Sport). Second place went to Dukes Racing ahead of Team Bertram. DB Motorsport sits comfortably at the head of the standings after its third successive victory.
