Salman said, "I am excited about this move to T-Sport. Russell's experience and guidance will be of great value to me at this point in my racing career. He continued: "I would like to thank Chris Weller and the whole team at Promatecme for their support during the first half of the season; I really enjoyed working with them"
T-Sport's Team Principal, Russell Eacott, commented: "We've been following Salman's progress since the beginning of the season and we believe he is a real talent with a lot of potential. We are looking forward to working with him and seeing him together with Sergio at the top of the class."
