T-Sport: Win number 8!

Rodolfo Gonzalez left Snetterton tonight with his eighth F3 win, a podium finish and a healthy National Class Championship lead, after a tough weekend of racing.

The Venezuelan driver started the first race from pole position and led throughout, apart from just one lap. Championship challenger Cristiano Morgado got him going into the Esses but Rodolfo duly (and coolly) returned the favour on the next lap and continued on for the win.

Rodolfo had an uncharacteristic 'off' in race two which put him down to fifth postion but his fought his way back up to third place, bagging more valuable Championship points.

Russell Eacott (T-Sport Team Principal): "Rodolfo did a great job yet again this weekend. The conditions have been tough: very hot all weekend. He has driven sensibly throughout the meeting and thoroughly deserved to get win number eight! A component failure in the rear suspension caused him to go off in race two so he did a great job considering he was driving a difficult car."

The next race for T-Sport is the fantastic Spa-Francorchamps track in Belgium where Rodolfo will be looking to further increase his Championship lead.
