WALKER RETURNS TO BRITISH SERIES CONFIDENT FOLLOWING EURO SERIES FORAY:
Third Quickest Lap Overall and Quickest British Series Driver

After his one-off outing in the F3 Euro Series when it visited Brands Hatch in Kent two weeks ago, James Walker is returning to the British International F3 championship at Snetterton in Norfolk this weekend confident of his pace and of podium finishes.

"Finishing eighth at Brands Hatch obviously wasn't what we were hoping for. However, it was pretty good considering we were experimenting with set-up in qualifying and were down in 14th as a result, plus the fact that it's incredibly difficult to overtake there," says James, who got alongside Sebastian Vettel, who lies third in championship, on four occasions but could not make the move stick on the narrow Kent circuit.

"However, in terms of race pace we were right there -- third quickest in race two, quicker than top two in the championship and quickest of the British Series drivers. And we learned a fair bit about how the car behaves on Kumho rubber, so we have that information in our pocket for the Masters next month.

"Brands was a useful exercise, but now it back to business at Snetterton. I'm expecting to be quick there. I like the circuit and went well in pre-season testing, and am going all out for podium places and climbing the championship table."
