Kerr stamps his authority on British Formula 3
Young British driver Robbie Kerr stamped his authority on the British F3 championship today at Silverstone, Northants, home of the British Grand Prix.
Robbie made up for a relatively lowly starting position of seventh on the grid of todays first race by charging through to take his fourth podium place of the season in fine style, snatching the overall championship lead back from pre season favourite, Australian James Courtney.
The weekend was rounded off by Robbie taking his second win of the season in the second race of the day, extending his championship lead to 10 points. The commanding style of his win earned praise from seasoned racing observers in the paddock.
Robbie was delighted, and commented "This feels great, the car and team were fabulous today, let's keep on winning!"
The championship now moves on to the tricky Scottish track of Knockhill on May 12th, with Robbie on a high and looking for more wins.
