The British F3 International Series arrives at Silverstone this weekend for the final two rounds of the 2005 season. After scoring a well-deserved second place at Mondello Park, Ryan Lewis is eager to get back on track and boost his final Championship position.
Ryan joined T-Sport at Pembrey last week to test in preparation for this weekend's two races. The team made a few changes to the car prior to the last race and found themselves in the thick of the action at Mondello so they have been doing further work on those developments in order to give Ryan the best possible chance at Silverstone.
The 2005 British F3 International Series has been a mixed season for the young Brit. Ryan has had two second-place finishes and nine finishes in the top six. He had a tough run of results during the middle part of the season but has put that firmly behind him with the result at Mondello.
"The aim for Silverstone is to make sure I go into the winter on a high," said Ryan. "We made some good progress before the last rounds and hopefully we've done the same for Silverstone. It would be great if we could have a good weekend and finish the season off properly."
The first race gets underway at Silverstone on Sunday at 1115.
