Robert Doornbos again with team Menu Motorsport at Brands-Hatch

Robert Doornbos will be again at the wheel of Team Menu Motorsport's Dallara in the British F3 championship this weekend at Brands Hatch, for the last 2 rounds.

Doornbos, regular in the F3 Euro Series with team Ghinzani, and actually 9th in the driver standings with 32 points, made his first appearance in the British F3 last 17th August in Spa, where he was standing in for the injured Rob Austin, and where he claimed a superb POLE, the first ever of the team and himself, this season. Since the beginning of the weekend race Robert had showed a strong performance, both in free practice and qualifying sessions, lying between the fastest drivers (was also 2nd). A deep feeling with Team Menu and his new car on a demanding track and in a championship really competitive.

"I'm really happy I have another chance to race with Team Menu, this weekend" -- said Robert - "Last rounds in Spa were wonderful for me: we took our first ever pole of this year. We had understood that we could get a good result since the test we had in Snetterton, the week before. And since then I felt good with the car and the team, as well. I'm really confident for this weekend race"

Last week Robert faced the 8th appointment of the championship (races 17 and 18) at Zandvoort finishing in a strong 5th and 7th places (6 points).
