PERFECT RESULT FOR T-SPORT

T-Sport driver, Rodolfo Gonzalez had the perfect run of results at Mondello Park this weekend, taking pole position, fastest lap and victory in both round seven and round eight of the British F3 International Series.

Mondello Park is a new circuit for Gonzalez so it was important for him to learn the track but also keep up his massive lead in the National Class Championship. With these two wins his victory tally is seven wins from eight races.

Gonzalez got off to a great start in race one but found himself behind an incident between Hitech team-mates, Salvador Duran and James Walker. He turned sharp right to avoid the accident and just clipped his front wing end plate on Walker's car but luckily didn't sustain any major damage. After this early scare it was a straightforward run to the flag. Race two was even more straightforward: good start, smooth drive, first past the flag. Simple!

Russell Eacott (T-Sport Team Principal): "Rodolfo has done a fantastic job this weekend. Considering this is a new track for him he found his line early on and put in some impressive times during the race. He was a second a lap quicker than all the other National Class cars and was keeping up with the Championship Class runners during the races so top job!"

The next rounds of the British F3 International Series are in three weeks' time at Snetterton in Norfolk. The T-Sport drivers and team will be donning their running shoes for the Sport Relief Mile on Saturday 15 July with the organisers hoping to get everyone on the track (on their feet!) for charity.
