Danish Insight Racing with Flex-Box is out to make an impression in the BlancPain Endurance Series. This weekend sees the end of the 2014 season in the endurance championship with iRacing.com Nürburgring 1000.

The iconic Nürburgring is host to the 6 hour 1000 km race, the second longest in the calendar after the 24 hour race at Spa-Francorchamps in July.

Danish pairing Martin Jensen and Dennis Andersen showed strong pace at the track in the German Eifel mountains last year. Rapid team manager Martin Jensen posted the fastest laptime in the Pro/Am category, although a first lap hit from a competitor meant the Danes were out of contention.

None of the 2014 titles are decided yet, so the 2014 finale is going to be an unforgettable race on one of the world’s most iconic race tracks.

The weekend will commence with bronze test on Friday, two practice sessions and qualifying on Saturday and the race on Sunday from 11:45.

Martin Jensen, driver and Team Manager: “We are all ready to finish the 2014 season on a high. Last year the Ferrari showed good race pace on the Nürburgring, and hopefully we will be able to show the same form and get some points in the final race.

It will be great to get back in the car again after a long break and with the 1000 km race we will get some good mileage in the car.”

Dennis Andersen, driver: “Obviously I am hoping for a better - and longer - race for us this year at the Nürburgring than last year.

We have a few ideas to work on during practise, so here's to hoping that we can fit our programme in with the changeable weather.

Other than that, I am looking forward to getting back in the car again - it has felt like a very long break since Spa 24H.”
