Di Leo continues to impress.

(Lexington, OH. Aug. 10, 2002) - After a well deserved third place podium finish in round 7 of the Barber Dodge Pro Series, Daniel Di Leo continued to impress with a solid fourth place result at the well known Mid Ohio Sports Car Course.

The race featured a methodical drive which saw the Canadian patiently pick his way through the field. Di Leo set the second fastest lap of the race only one hundredth of a second slower then the fastest time

"We missed the set up in qualifying, so unfortunately I was restricted to starting back in seventh spot. We had a great car for the race, and I really believe that if I would have started closer to the front, I could have challenged for the win."

With the strong showing, Di Leo continues to climb the points ladder as he gained sole possession of fifth overall. The rookie who now has finished in the top five in four of the last five events is satisfied with the result, but is already beginning to look to round 9 for his maiden victory in the ultra competitive series.

"I'm pleased with our results. I've been very consistent in the last five rounds, and the points are all adding up. But still something is missing! I finished fifth in Toronto, fourth here in Mid Ohio, third in Vancouver, second in Portland but I'm still missing my maiden victory in the Barber Dodge Pro Series. Heading into Road America I feel very confident. I've performed well there in the past, and I'm determined more then ever to finish on the top step of the podium."
