Josh Beaulieu quick in Spring Training.
Sebring, FL -- February 11, 2003: Canadian racer Josh Beaulieu was quickly on the pace in the Barber Dodge Pro Series spring training pre-season test, held at Sebring Raceway earlier this week. The Langley, BC driver circulated the 1.64-mile Champ Car test track with a best lap of 1:03.63, the third quickest in the field of 26 drivers.
While Beaulieu plans to race in the Barber Dodge season opener next weekend in St. Petersburg, he remains in pursuit of a drive in this season's CART Toyota Atlantic Championship.
"After a lot of offseason training and preparation, I am confident of where I am as a driver," said Beaulieu. "I am still working toward a drive with a top Atlantic team this season, and we are looking for the right sponsorship deal which would put me there. I've never yet in my career had the opportunity of only focusing on driving and not funding during the season, and my management team and I have spent much of the off-season with this as our objective."
Josh Beaulieu, in his third year of professional auto racing, has established himself among the next generation of Canada's racing stars. The British Columbia native has already 20 open-wheel race wins to his credit. You can find out more about Josh's career by visiting his website www.joshbeaulieu.com.
