Houston,TX. Oct 7, 2001.The Trans-Am Series has entered into a multi-year marketing partnership agreement with Westward, the exclusive brand of industrial tools developed by Grainger. Grainger is the leading North American provider of maintenance, repair and operating supplies. Westward was welcomed during the 2001 Trans-Am Awards Banquet for the BF Goodrich Tires Cup in Houston.

The sponsorship agreement with Wesward is in keeping with the evolution of the Trans-Am marketing program. Trans-Am, entering its 37th year, has continuously served as an accessible, dynamic and relatable form of racing for the fans throughout its history.

Trans-Am's Houston finale will be seen on Speedvision, Saturday, October 13 at 2pm EST.
