Jordan Station, Ontario - The Toyz Shop Motorsports consisting of Canadian team owner and driver Carl Spiering along with American car owners, The Persico Bros. are ready to make their 2001 Pro Modified debut with Cutler-Hammer Canada joining Pace American Trailers at the Canadian Mopar Nationals this weekend.

The team is looking to better last years results at the inaugural event where they qualified #2, were presented with "Best Appearing Team" and went down to four cars in eliminations. The team is sporting a new look temporarily with a '33 Willys until the arrival of their new car a '57 Chevy in August, a new corporate sponsor for the event; CUTLER-HAMMER and a new name for the racecar, "Road Warrior 3".

"The Road Warrior 3" compliments the current Road Warrior program that is in effect at Cutler-Hammer. The Road Warrior Program is a growth "vehicle" designed to deliver Cutler-Hammer's value proposition to the residential channel. As part of Cutler-Hammer's image campaign and growth initiative, it is designed to increase brand awareness, drive residential product sales, and increase market share.

"We are extremely excited about the involvement of our new sponsor for the Canadian Mopar Nationals, and are looking forward to having them attend this awesome event. The car will actually first be viewed at the Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame on Tuesday, May 29th and then head to Grandbend" stated Carl Spiering.
