SONOMA, Calif. (April 5, 2001) - Snap-on Tools has signed on as title sponsor of the 2001 NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series race at Sears Point Raceway. The event will be part of the NASCAR Winston Cup Weekend, June 21-24.
The Snap-on Tools 200 will take place on Saturday, June 23, on the 10-turn, 2-mile road course nestled in the scenic Sonoma Valley. This marks the third consecutive year Snap-on Tools has served as title sponsor. Jim Inglebright of nearby Fairield (Ca.) is the defending champion.
