World of Outlaws hires Hackman to head marketing efforts

ALLEN, TX (June 4) -- The O'Reilly World of Outlaws is pleased to announce it has hired Shawn Hackman as its director of marketing.

"We're glad to have Shawn join our staff," series Founder and President Ted Johnson said Wednesday. "He comes to us with plenty of solid experience and credentials in the marketing of auto racing."

During the 14 months before joining sprint car racing's premier series, Hackman managed the daily operations of the Cadillac Grand Prix, the American Le Mans Series event in Washington, D.C. Before that, Hackman was the director of marketing and sales for two years at Nazareth Speedway in Nazareth, PA.

"I'm really excited about working with the O'Reilly World of Outlaws Series," Hackman said. "I look forward to acquiring and working with the sponsors that make the series the best in sprint car racing."

Hackman will manage the daily operations of the O'Reilly World of Outlaws Series marketing department. He will develop promotional and sponsorship programs for prospective corporate partners and be the primary contact for the series' sponsors.
