"Patrick has been part of the Sears Point family and involved in our major events for a number of years," Page said. "We are fortunate to have someone who is so familiar with our operations available to step into the position. I know he'll do an outstanding job."

McGuinn spent 18 years working for Chicago-based HDO Productions, including the last two years as Operations Manager for the Western United States. HDO is a leading national provider of tenting and accessories, serving venues from the White House to Pebble Beach.

McGuinn joined the Sears Point Raceway staff three months ago as Construction Coordinator for the facility's $35 million Modernization Plan. The comprehensive plan will take two years to complete and will transform the raceway into one of the premier motor racing and entertainment venues in the world. For updates on the program, visit

As Director of Operations, McGuinn replaces Robert Brown, who is leaving to go into business for himself.

McGuinn, who graduated from Northland College in Wisconsin with a degree in Business Administration, resides in Hayward in the East Bay.
