(LEXINGTON, Ohio) Aug. 13, 2000 –Conseco has stepped in to provide the Conseco Step Up award to the Barber Dodge Pro Series driver who recoups the most positions in a race. That driver will receive a $500.00 cash award.

“We are very pleased to present this award to the driver who demonstrates the ability to ‘step up’ performance during the race. The Barber Dodge Pro Series has long been recognized as the premiere series for drivers to demonstrate their skill and professionalism to the entire racing community. Many of their graduates have gone on to success in CART, NASCAR and the Indy Racing Northern Lights Series,” said Peter Ledwith, Director of Motorsports for Conseco Risk Management, Inc. (CRM).
