Richmond International Raceway Adds New Staff Members

Richmond International Raceway Adds New Staff Members: Track president Doug Fritz announced this week the hiring of two employees at Richmond International Raceway. Ryan Ross joins the marketing and sales department as Corporate Sales Executive and Anissa Parker joins the accounting department as Accounting Manager.

Ross comes to Richmond International Raceway after working in NASCAR's New York office as Corporate Marketing Intern. While with NASCAR, Ross conducted industry research, developed case study proposals, assisted in managing accounts and helped plan the NASCAR season-ending banquet.

In his role at Richmond International Raceway, Ross will assist in managing the club level, called TORQUE, and will help manage the Cintas Pit Stop Club corporate hospitality area. A native of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, Ross graduated from Kutztown University (Pennsylvania) in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Parker joins Richmond International Raceway after working as a staff accountant and accounts payable assistant at Centex Homes in nearby Glen Allen. While there, Parker prepared journal entries, financial statements and was responsible for account reconciliations.

As Accounting Manager, Parker will supervise the accounting department, manage event cash handling and reporting and assist in day-to-day transactions. Parker is a graduate of Strayer University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

"We are pleased to add both Ryan and Anissa to the Richmond International Raceway staff," said track president Doug Fritz. "I am confident Ryan's experience will enhance the marketing and sales team and Anissa's accounting knowledge will be a great asset to the accounting department."
