New look, new sponsor for BRB Racing in 2001

Schuylkill Haven, PA - The BRB Racing team announced Mrs.T's Pierogies of Shenandoah, PA will be the primary sponsor of the 114 dirt modified, driven by Craig Von Dohren for the 2001 season.

The car was unveiled Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm at the Fairlane Village Mall, Pottsville, PA as part of the weeklong Big Diamond Racing show.

"We're excited to have a company like Mrs. T's Pierogies join us," said Buddy Biever part owner of the team. Mrs. T's Pierogies is a brand name that everyone knows and respects. We're looking forward to a long and lasting relationship.."

"We're excited about the upcoming season," said Tim Twardzik, VP of Marketing for Ateeco, the parent company of Mrs. T's Pierogies. " Racing has become a fast growing sport and provides us with an interesting opportunity to work with a top team to provide exposure for our brand and products. It will give us both sampling and sales opportunities."

" We want to take our association with BRB Racing beyond the race track. We plan to utilize our association with the team at supermarkets and trade shows by displaying a show car. The car gives us an opportunity to create some excitement."

The Mrs. T's Pierogy/BRB Racing team will begin the 2001 season on Sunday, February 25 at Hagerstown, MD. Also on Sunday the car will be displayed at the Fairgrounds Square Mall for the weeklong Reading Racing Reunion show. The team will continue the season competing Friday nights at Big Diamond Raceway, a NASCAR sanctioned track, with occasional trips to East Windsor Speed way throughout the year possible.

Presently, there has been no decision on where the tem will race on Saturday nights although; a decision will be made within the next 30 days.

Associate sponsor Mystic Screen Printing and Embroidery and renowned motorsports artist Emerson Freese Jr. should have the new apparel line available for sale the week of Feb 25.

Returning for the 2001 season, are long time associate Stauffer Construction of Boyertown; Bair Wheel Repair of New Ringgold; and Seltzer Insurance Agency, Inc. of Orwigsburg. Joining the Mrs. T's Pierogies/BRB Racing Team for the first time as an associate sponsor is Van Industries Powder Coating and Welding of Birdsboro, PA.

Motors for the Mrs. T's Pierogies/BRB Racing Team will be provided by Carroll Hine's Wide-Open Technologies.
