MRN RADIO ANNOUNCES STAFF CHANGES IN PRODUCTION, NEWS DEPARTMENTS

CONCORD, N.C. (May 7, 2008) -- The Motor Racing Network has recently announced a quartet of additions and changes to its staff as an offshoot of its move from Daytona Beach, Fla., to Charlotte, N.C., last fall.

MRN Radio, The Voice of NASCAR, has promoted producers Ryan Horn and Craig Moore, and added Woody Cain and John Singler to its news-gathering department as the 2008 NASCAR season enters its second quarter.

"When we moved our headquarters from Florida to North Carolina last fall, we did so with the intention of broadening the menu of services we can provide to our affiliates," said MRN Radio President David Hyatt. "Now being in such close proximity to the majority of the racing teams' shops, we've begun building a news-gathering organization we hope will be second to none in the industry."

On the production side, Horn has been named Live Program Director, with oversight of all radio content and production of live-event programming generated from race tracks. Horn has been with MRN Radio since 2001 and most recently produced Sirius Speedway, the four-hour afternoon drive time program MRN produces for Sirius Satellite Radio.

Moore took Horn's place as Sirius Speedway producer and will manage all production aspects of the anchor program for Sirius Satellite Radio's NASCAR Channel. It was Moore's extensive radio production and engineering background that was instrumental in the design and construction of MRN Radio's state-of-the-art studios in Concord.

"These studios, and the staffing announcements we've made, reflect our intention of servicing affiliates in the best way possible," said Hyatt, "with crisp, professional race broadcasts that deliver a punch on weekends and with a strong news-gathering team that'll help us establish reliable, credible news programming through the week."

Cain is a veteran broadcast news personality in Charlotte and joined MRN Radio as producer of NASCAR Today, the network's signature daily news program fed to affiliates three times a day Monday through Friday. He also will be heard on select race broadcasts during the season.

Singler is a veteran motor sports publicist and a seasoned writer, joining MRN Radio as a news producer. He will manage the news content flow of all studio-based programs; and will write and distribute the "Morning Driver," MRN's daily information sheet that goes to affiliates nationwide and includes breaking news, stats, feature stories and other NASCAR-related data.
