January 24, Montreal, Que. - Berman Motorsport Group, promoters of the Motorola Cup Series announced today that Satisfied Brake Products Inc. has signed on as an official sponsor of the Motorola Cup North American Street Stock Championship.

Satisfied Brake is a manufacturer of high quality brake pads for cars, light trucks, SUVs, and fleet and commercial vehicles. The company distributes brake pads to the North American market, and is one of only 500 North American businesses to achieve the QS 9000 quality standard.

“We’re very happy to be involved with the series,” said Stewart Kahan, President of Satisfied Brake Products. “Not only is it the perfect marketing vehicle for our product line, but we will use the series to further our extensive R&D program. We plan on working with experienced Motorola Cup teams to develop a performance racing brake pad.” Satisfied does not currently manufacture performance pads for the race track.

The Motorola Cup Series starts off the 2000 season with a three hour race in conjunction with the Rolex 24hr. event in Daytona. The race is set for Friday, February 4, at 2:30 p.m.
