LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas Motor Speedway will celebrate the beginning of a new year with a number of staff promotions and additions.
Former credentials manager Keri Wright has been named manager of the Bullring, LVMS' 3/8-mile paved short track.
"Keri exhibits the leadership and organizational qualities that will make her well-suited for the position," said Chris Powell, LVMS' executive vice president and general manager. "Keri joins a unique group, since there are so few women working as promoters and track operators in the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series. I am confident the Bullring will be in good hands with Keri at the helm."
David Stetzer has been promoted from senior manager of short-track operations to director of short-track racing.
Joey Mancari, former manager of short-track events, was appointed manager of promotions in the speedway's Sales and Marketing Department.
Kirk Barkhimer, who served as a manager in the operations department as well as The Strip, has been named manager of the dirt oval and motocross track.
Dana Hall, a graduate of Michigan State, has joined LVMS' public relations department as public relations coordinator. Hall most recently worked as a public relations coordinator for the Bragg-Smith Corvette School in Pahrump, Nev.
Dawn McDow is LVMS' newly appointed credentials coordinator, and Mary White was upgraded from part-time to full-time status in the ticketing department.
"We are fortunate to have such a talented, hard-working group of individuals in every department employed at LVMS," Powell said. "When a position needs to be created or filled at our facility, we're very fortunate to have a wealth of talent from which to choose."
