CLEMMONS, N.C. (Jan. 2) -- Keystone Marketing Company, Inc., has changed the assignments of its top two executives.

At the helm as vice president and chief operating officer since November 1999, David Scheumann is now president and chief operating officer of Keystone Marketing. Scheumann has been instrumental in building the organization that serves Keystone's client base of Pfizer, Kraft Foods, Jim Beam Brands, NVE Pharmaceuticals, Hershey Foods, the U.S. Army and America Online. Scheumann, a native of Indianapolis, has forged an impressive sports marketing career that has included stops at Rudd Performance Motorsports as general manager, Newman/Haas Racing as controller and Dick Simon Racing as controller. Scheumann is a CPA and graduate of Butler University.

Roger Bear, who founded the sports and event marketing entity in 1990, is now chairman and chief executive officer. For 14 years Bear has been president of Keystone Marketing, creating sports sponsorships valued at more than $200 million. In the past four years, the staff has quadrupled in size. Bear, a native of Iowa, has more than three decades of experience in the sports marketing industry, working for International Speedway Corporation in the late sixties and seventies and for RJR Nabisco's Sports Marketing Enterprises in the late seventies and eighties, developing and operating motorsports, professional golf and entertainment sponsorships.
