Kart Data Technology offers data acquisition training.
Oak Lawn, IL -- A new company, Kart Data Technology (KDT), has been recently formed to aid in the training and technical support for data acquisition analysis for karting and other forms of motorsports.
KDT was started by Dale Nickos, a top data acquisition engineer in the Indy Racing League, to provide a much-needed service to kart racing looking to take advantage of the technology they currently have available to them. Nickos has worked with numerous IRL drivers, including Jacques Lazier, Sam Schmidt, Stan Wattles, Davey Hamilton, Robby Unser, Greg Ray, Doug Didero, Jim Guthrie and Raul Boesel, just to name a few.
"With proper training or consulting advice, the professional or amateur racing team can get the edge on the competition," said Nickos. "There are potential gains on many levels for nearly every karter. It would not make any sense to not take advantage of it."
One-on-One consulting and training seminars are currently available. Training for data acquisition systems is the first and foremost priority for KDT as well as filling the gap between set-up ideas and driver feedback.
Nickos added. "Good data will provide the engineer or tuner with the needed information that is sometimes lacked from the driver alone."
Kart Data Technology will be carrying and providing technical support for the AimSports line of MyChron and EVO-3 products. All of the components are priced to be competitive within the market and sold through their website or over the phone.
