General Manager Jim Freudenberg has named Jim Wilson as Team Manager for Kelley Racing. Wilson will be in charge of racing operations and the day-to-day management of the two race teams beginning immediately.

Although Wilson has performed a number of responsibilities with race teams, this will be his first experience as Team Manager. He has been in racing for almost 20 years and has worked with a number of prestigious Indy car teams, including Team Green, Chip Ganassi Racing, and Galles-Kraco Racing. He was also with Players LTD/Team Green in 1995 when they won the Indianapolis 500 and CART Championship with driver Jacques Villeneuve.

Wilson has been with Kelley Racing since December 2001 when he was hired to oversee renovations to the new race shop in Indianapolis. The team moved into the 34,000-square-foot facility on Jan. 1 and final renovations should be completed this spring.
