Ford Announces Executive Communications Appointments

Ford Motor Company today announced a series of senior personnel appointments that will further strengthen the global integration of our communications team:

-Stuart Dyble appointed Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs, Premier Automotive Group and Ford of Europe

-Ian Slater is appointed Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs, Ford of Europe

-Niel Golightly appointed Director, Environmental Strategy, Ford Motor Company Other new appointments within Jaguar and Land Rover communications.

August 27, 2004. Stuart Dyble is named Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs, Premier Automotive Group and Ford of Europe with immediate effect.

He will continue to lead communications for Premier Automotive Group and will add overall responsibility for communication strategy for Ford Motor Company's European-based operations, reporting to Mark Fields, Executive Vice President Ford of Europe and Premier Automotive Group. He will also remain on the Jaguar and Land Rover Board reporting to Joe Greenwell.

After four years in Europe, Niel Golightly, Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs, Ford of Europe will return to Ford Motor Company world headquarters in Detroit, Michigan, to take a new position as Director, Environmental Strategy.

In the interim, he will continue to report to Lewis Booth, Chairman and CEO, Ford of Europe, and will work closely with Stuart Dyble as he takes up his new role.

Effective October 1, Ian Slater is named Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs, Ford of Europe succeeding Niel Golightly. Currently Executive Director he will report to Lewis Booth and Stuart Dyble.

In recognition of his broader responsibilities Stuart Dyble has re-structured the Jaguar and Land Rover communications team to ensure full media support on a day-to-day basis. Reporting to Stuart at Jaguar and Land Rover will be:

Paul Chadderton who is appointed Director Jaguar, Global Product and Brand Communications.

Andrew Roberts who is appointed Director, Land Rover, Global Product and Brand Communications.

Don Hume, recently appointed Director, Corporate and Government Affairs, Jaguar and Land Rover.

Also reporting to Stuart will be Simon Warr who is appointed Director, Communications, PAG and European Coordination and John Gardiner, who is appointed Manager Communications, PAG and European Coordination - both will be based at Ford's Ingeni Building in London.
