DIS president takes new position at International Speedway Corporation; Daytona International Speedway names new president.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Aug. 9, 2002) - Long-time Daytona International Speedway (DIS) president John Graham, who has held that position since 1994, has been named Vice President of Business Affairs and Corporate Communications for International Speedway Corporation (ISC). ISC Chairman Bill France made the announcement today.

In his new role, Graham will oversee ISC's Corporate Communications, help coordinate the company's government and political efforts and manage other key corporate initiatives. Robin Braig, former Executive Vice President and General Manager at Phoenix International Raceway and current ISC Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing, has been named to replace Graham. As president of DIS, Braig will oversee all speedway activities including event entertainment, fan amenities and ticket sales.

"As president, John Graham's efforts and direction have given DIS a competitive advantage in the motorsports industry," said France. "His hard work and dedication to the facility have made it the benchmark by which other facilities are measured."

France added, "Robin will bring tremendous energy, insight and leadership to his role as new president at Daytona International Speedway and we look for him to further advance and strengthen DIS's position in the motorports industry."

"I am excited to join Daytona International Speedway, one of motorsports' crown jewels," said Braig. "I am committed to bringing sports entertainment to a new level while continuing to build upon the track's historic tradition of excellence and the success that John Graham and his staff have built over the past several years. "

The track also announced Sean Belgrade, Vice President of Marketing and Sales for DIS, will replace Braig as Managing Director of Consumer Marketing. Said France, "We will look to Sean Belgrade to accelerate the company's focus on the consumers entertainment experience."
