LAKEVILLE, Conn. Jan. 5, 2000 -Skip Barber, President and C.E.O. of the Skip Barber Racing School today announced Darren Marshall as the Chief Operating Officer for the Skip Barber Racing School.

Marshall will coordinate and direct the day to day activities of the company in pursuit of its goals and objectives. Chiefly, he will assist Mr. Barber in the development and implementation of policies covering operations, financial performance and company growth.

"This is a terrific company with great ownership and a really talented group of people. I'm really excited about coming on board and helping to take the Skip Barber Racing School to the next level," Mr. Marshall said

Formerly the General Manager of the North American offices of ISL, one of the world's largest sports marketing corporations as well as Head of Auto Racing worldwide for ISL, Marshall brings with him an extensive background in sports marketing and business development in the motorsports industry. During his tenure at ISL, Marshall's major achievements include signing ISL's nine-year, $250 million marketing representation agreement with CART and concluding a joint venture with Emerson Fittipaldi to operate the Rio 200 CART event.

Mr. Marshall, 34, is originally from Kent, England, but has lived in Connecticut since 1995
