GLENDORA, Calif. (Oct. 4, 2001) -- Checker Schuck's Kragen (CSK Auto) has renewed its sponsorship with the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) as its "Official Auto Parts Store".
The official status provides CSK Auto with the opportunity to utilize the NHRA mark in advertising and promotional campaigns. Through the official program, CSK Auto also receives signage at all national events, and is featured in many NHRA-driven marketing initiatives. In addition to its involvement with the sanctioning body, CSK Auto is the primary sponsor of the Checker Schuck's Kragen Pontiac Firebird Funny Cars owned by the Worsham Racing Team and also is the title sponsor of the Checker Schuck's Kragen Nationals at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix, scheduled for Feb. 21-24, 2002.
