Avon, Ind. (January 29, 2002)A new element will be added to the coverage of Championship Off Road Racing on Speedvision in 2002. In each telecast, Skyjacker Suspensions will sponsor the Skyjacker "Shocking Moment of the Race" segment.

With Skyjacker Suspension joining CORR, the series now has the top four suspension companies in the country, including Trail Master, Rancho, and Fabtech.

"The timing (for sponsoring the `Shocking Moment of the Race') was perfect," said Lonnie McCurry, Sr. with Skyjacker Suspensions. "People love to see replays of the most exciting moments of a broadcast, and most of the time the most shocking part of the race will be the most remembered," he said.

McCurry noted that with the growing popularity of off-road racing, Skyjacker's involvement in CORR makes sense.

"The fact that CORR is covered by Speedvision was certainly a major factor in our decision to sponsor the `Shocking Moment of the Race'," he said. "Speedvision's reach to over 45 million households, and its commitment to Motorsports programming is key to CORR's success and ultimately our return on this investment."

In the 2002 CORR Series, Skyjacker will also support two drivers, Curt (Pro-4) and Rookie Kyle (Pro-Lite) LeDuc.

"It is exciting to see the competition between suspension companies build," said CORR Marketing Director Jamie Devney. "CORR has been chosen by these manufacturers to test, showcase, compete for bragging rights and boost revenues relative to their products. By aligning themselves with Curt LeDuc's force, it is obvious that Skyjacker Suspensions is here long-term. Everyone at CORR welcomes their involvement," he said.
