Clarkson reportedly punched producer, rest of Top Gear season dropped

We've received more clarity on the 'fracas' between Jeremy Clarkson and a BBC producer.

You may have read the report on Motorsport.com yesterday regarding the suspension of Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson. Well we now have more details regarding what exactly occurred to provoke such a severe response from BBC.

Clarkson, the lead presenter for the show Top Gear, reportedly punched BBC producer Oisin Tymon in what was originally described as a 'fracas' between the two.

As the investigation continues, the rest of Season 22 (three more episodes) have been dropped, according to a story on BBC's official site.

Clarkson not losing any sleep

Clarkson writes columns for the Sun newspaper and they quote him as taking this firestorm fairly lightly, "I'm having a nice cold pint and waiting for this to blow over."

He has also been joking around on Twitter, even discussing what shows should replace Top Gear in its usual time slot with his co-hosts.
