Concord, NC - For the second consecutive year, Circle Bar Racing is pleased to announce that Lennox Industries has signed on to be an associate sponsor of the #14 Ford during the 2002 NCTS season. Lennox proudly supports racing and is also an associate sponsor of the #2 Ford Taurus driven by Rusty Wallace on the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. "Circle Bar Racing is excited about having Lennox as a sponsor. Brian O'Connor, John Cowart and the entire staff at Lennox have been a pleasure to work with," stated driver Rick Crawford.
A worldwide leader in residential and commercial heating and air-conditioning systems, Lennox Industries Inc. is based near Dallas, Texas and is a subsidiary of Lennox International Inc., a Fortune 500 company operating in over 70 countries and a global leader in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration markets.
Lennox employees and customers definitely look forward to the NCTS races in the Dallas area. "I enjoy the NCTS, the racing is exciting and competitive. Rick Crawford and the entire Circle Bar Race team treat Lennox customers great and make them feel right at home," stated Brian O'Connor of Lennox Industries. For the 2002 season, the NCTS will visit the Dallas area Texas Motor Speedway twice, and will also host approximately eleven races in conjunction with the Winston Cup Series.
Talladega Testing A Success
Rick Crawford and the #14 Circle Bar Racing Ford headed to the high banks of Talladega Superspeedway for two days of testing in preparation for the 2002 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season opener at Daytona. "With the exception of rain on the first day, it was a good test. I was really excited to be able to spend some time in the wind tunnel with our new truck. I think we have definitely learned a few things that will help us at Daytona." stated driver Rick Crawford.
Circle Bar Racing is still looking for a primary sponsor for the 2002 season. The #14 Ford was red hot during the 2001 NCTS season, finishing outside of the top six only one time in the last ten races. The team is one of only four factory sponsored Ford teams on the NCTS.
