LAS VEGAS - A new program to get children more involved with the races at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will be unveiled Saturday night.

The program will be known as the Bullring Co-pilot Program. All children attending the event will be entered into a drawing. Each night, prior to the co-pilot feature event, names will be drawn among the entrants. The number of names drawn will equal the number of cars in the co-pilot feature event. Each name will be matched with a different car in that feature. The entrant who is matched with the winning driver will receive a small trophy and be given a lap around the track in the winning driver’s race car following the Victory Lane ceremony.

This Saturday's co-pilot feature division is the Charger division. The entry form should be dropped in the box located next to the tower elevator prior to 7 p.m.

The "Night of Champions" banquet is set for Dec. 1 at The Orleans Hotel and Casino's Mardi Gras Ballroom. The Bullring banquet to honor the 2001 competitors will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person if purchased by Nov. 11. Tickets are available at the LVMS ticket office and Bullring credential office. For more information please call (702) 632-8422.
