DETROIT (February 7, 2002) - Championship Auto Racing Teams, INC. (CART) President and CEO Christopher R. Pook announced that Haymarket Publishing has been appointed to support CART and The FedEx Championship Series with a comprehensive marketing and promotional campaign for the 2002 season. Projects will include brand positioning, visual identity development and creative and printed work including the Official 2002 CART FedEx Championship Series Fan Guide. The series guide which will be published in time for April's Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach FedEx Championship Series race.
"The CART FedEx Championship Series is one of the world's premier motor racing championships, so it makes perfect sense for us to align ourselves with one of the world leaders in motorsports publishing," Pook said.
