"We are pleased to have the great people from Jack Link's Beef Jerky aboard for this season," explained Castellana, whose nitrous-injected 1957 Chevy qualified for the quickest-ever Pro Modified field in the history of the class in Rockingham. "We have had a tremendous working relationship within our stores and we see no reason why extending our association into the racing world couldn't enhance it further. This could prove to turn into a tremendous marketing partnership and I'm proud to be a part of it."

Castellana will have samples on hand at this weekend's IHRA/Summit Drag Racing Series ACDelco Nationals presented by Chevrolet for the race fans to try. His pit area, which is adorned in the image of a Fifties Style Drive-in, will prove to be an effective way to introduce his new sponsor.

"We will be serving it up at Mike's Drive-in," added Castellana. "I like the stuff and I'm sure anyone that tries it will too. I knew from the time I sampled it that it would be a hit among the racing community."

Jack Link's Beef Jerky has a storied history in business. Back in the 1890s the Link Family settled in the north woods of Wisconsin, bringing with them the Old World recipes for meat products, sausages and meat snacks. The local residents (lumberjacks, woodsmen, and pioneer farmers) came to depend on the Links for high protein snacks, and the Links had an obligation to provide them with the healthiest and safest products possible. In the modern age the Link Tradition continues. While Jack Link's Beef Jerky is the fastest growing full line meat snack manufacturer in the world, they have never lost our commitment to quality, wholesomeness and cleanliness.
