ATLANTA MOTOR SPEEDWAY PROMOTES THREE TOP STAFF MEMBERS

Hampton, Ga. (December 5, 2005) Atlanta Motor Speedway president and general manager, Ed Clark announced today the promotion of three standout staff members.

Brandon Hutchison was promoted to vice president of events, Greg Walter was promoted to vice president of sales and Greg Harvey was promoted to senior sponsorship manager.

Hutchison, 33, reached his 10-year anniversary with AMS this summer. An Atlanta native, he graduated from Georgia Southern University. Straight out of college, he joined the speedway as an intern, then was hired as the track rental coordinator, and in 1998 became the director of events.

Walter, a native of Raleigh, N.C., joined AMS in 1999 as the director of sales. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Walter has directed a department which has grown event revenues by double digits over the last three years.

Harvey, a University of Kentucky alum, joined AMS as a sales executive in late 1999. He has won the sales person of the year award every year since its inception three years ago. His new role will encompass focusing more on sponsorships, developing key partnerships and mentoring the sales staff.

"It is always satisfying to promote good employees from within," said Clark. "They were promoted not only for their job performance, but also for their leadership within our staff here at Atlanta Motor Speedway."
