Coloni Motorsport s.r.l. FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP WIN FOR MARTINI
Successful debut for RC Motorsport

Experience against youth. Olivier Martini vs. Davide Rigon. In the first Euroseries 3000 in Vallelunga, also valuable for the Italian title, the RC Motorsport driver won on the championship debut. The Minardi by GP Racing driver Rigon followed him closely during all of the 18 laps. In the end, after an exciting battle between the two of them, Rigon lost by 1"334 seconds.

Alx Danielsson, who started in the first row behind Rigon, stalled on the grid because of a technical problem, allowing Martini to overtake both drivers just from the start. The Elk Motorsport's Sweden recovered from the last place to finish sixth, after overtaking Dracone (ASR) and his team mate Bennati. In the end, Danielsson battled against Arabadzhiev (ASR), without managing to take the fifth position.

The lowest spot of the podium, behind Martini and Rigon, went to the other Minardi driver, the Brasilian Diego Nunes, after a consistent race. The South-American came ahead of his fellow countryman Luiz Razia (Fisichella Motor Sport by Durango).

Seventh place for the Moroccan driver Mehdi Bennani (Elk Motorsport), ahead of his Ecuadorean team mate Sebastian Merchan, who will be starting on pole in the afternoon race after winning his personal battle against Dracone. <pre>
