Quick Chinese: Congfu Cheng with new livery
Wolfsburg (28 June 2008) The first Chinese to race at Le Mans, the first Chinese in the Formula 3 Euro Series: Congfu Cheng (RC Motorsport) is one of Asia's pioneers in motorsport. After clinching the first podium position for his national team in the 2007/2008 A1GP Series, the 23-year-old recently caused a stir by finishing the 24 Hours of Le Mans in third place in the LMP2 category. In the Formula 3 Euro Series, "Franky" Cheng is the very first Chinese contender ever, a fact he emphasizes with the livery of his Volkswagen Dallara F308 as well: Dynamic stripes in the national colours symbolize the Chinese flag as well as the support by Volkswagen China.
