Third pole position in a row in Euroseries 3000 for TP Formula. In Mugello, fourth round of the season, the fastest in qualifying was Anglo-Pakistan Adam Khan, who stopped the clocks in 1'38"546. Behind the 23-years-old, already seen in A1GP defending Pakistan colours, was Nico Prost. Cerveza Sol's French set a time of 1'39"169. Great debut in the championship for Fabrizio Crestani, who was third fastest. The Italian, who has signed a contract for three races with the GP Racing team, finished his first qualifying in the series lapping in 1'39"436.
Tomorrow in race-1 Crestani will start from the second row, behind Khan and Prost. Alongside him will be Omar Leal, Durango's Columbian, who stopped the clocks in 1'39"585. From the third row will start the Brazilian Razia and Beretta (Cerveza Sol). Fourth row for the other Brazilian Felipe Guimaraes (TP Formula), poleman in the last race in Valencia and supported on track by his manager Emerson Fittipaldi. The South-American didn't find immediately the right feeling with the difficult Italian track, but he is confident he can improve soon.
Alongside him will start in race-1 Fabio Onidi (GP Racing), who is leading the Euroseries championship, and didn't manage to be as fast as usual because of an electric problem. The Emmebi Motorsport drivers, Dracone and Zapata, rounded off the grid for race-1.
Race-1 will start tomorrow (Sunday 20th) at 11.30 (14 laps). Race-2 will start in the afternoon at 16.40 (18 laps). Live broadcast on Nuvolari TV (Sky 218).
