EUROSERIES 3000 DEBUT FOR THE INDONESIAN MIKOLA

Davide Rigon, current championship leader, was the fastest driver in practice for the fourth season's round in Mugello. The Italian Minardi by GP Racing team's driver dominated both sessions with a time of 1'40"186 in the morning, improved in the afternoon to 1'38"903.

Behind him, in both sessions, was Oliver Martini. RC Motorsport's driver clocked his best lap in 1'39"111. Third time for Rigon's team-mate, Diego Nunes, who stopped the clock in 1'39"182. The Brazilian did better than Alx Danielsson, who was third in the first session. Elk Motorsport's Swedish, fourth overall after the first day, did a best time of 1'39"954.

The Brazilian Luiz Razia (Fisichella Motor Sport), the Bulgarian Vladimir Arabadzhiev (Auto Sport Racing), the Columbian Omar Leal (Durango) and Ananda Mikola rounded off the top 8. The Indonesian is the new face in Mugello for the team G-Tec: his car is the one driven in Hungary and in Magny-Cours by Jason Tahinci.

Qualifying will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at 11. Race 1 will also start Saturday at 17,40 (14 laps). Race 2 is scheduled on Sunday at 12,40 (18 laps). The races will be broadcast live on Nuvolari TV.
