WITH MISANO ADRIATICO RACE AND THE EXPECTED SHOWDOWN BETWEEN SIEDLER AND BUSNELLI, 3000 PRO SERIES COMES INTO SEASON SECOND HALF

ROME -- 3000 Pro Series, the class reserved to F3000 Lola B99/50 Zytec, has reached the turning point. Leading the championship standings is always ADM Motorsport's standard-bearer, the Austrian Norbert Siedler who however sees approaching Pro Motorsport's Busnelli, winner at Mugello and facing this fifth meeting of the season only two points behind the leader.

Timo Lienemann, the Draco Junior Team German driver, winner of Vallelunga opening race but into the shade in the last two races, was the first "victim" of the face to face between Siedler and Busnelli. He must now commit himself in making up for the eleven points keeping him apart from the leadership.

Behind him however Marco Mocci (Cek Team), the season's revelation, is now fourth, at only one point. To point out a replacement within Scuderia Famà which will line up Matteo Pellegrino instead of Jean De Pourtales.

Today free practice, while tomorrow the F 3000 drivers will qualify for Sunday race.
